NOW Campus Action Network seeks to encourage students at the University of Nevada, Reno campus to become actively involved in educating, organizing and mobilizing to promote diversity, end racism, prevent violence against women, preserve reproductive rights, fight discrimination based on sexual orientation, and lobby for constitutional equality and economic justice for women.

The purpose of National Organization for Women - Campus Action Network is to empower and bring together a diverse group of students at UNR to work toward feminist change on their campus and in their community. In order to accomplish this goal, we seek to take the initiative to raise awareness about the persisting need for women’s rights activism, to encourage fair and equitable workplaces, safety from violence, access to reproductive healthcare and comprehensive sex education, and promote and support the culturally varied experiences of campus women.
